Another Obama-be-Praised Video

Since these videos are spreading like wildfire, I thought I would post the lastest video of children singing the praises of President Barack Obama.

The Unreported Election Results - Election 2009

There are three races that the media has been reporting on that said a lot about the political change in America. The governor races in Virginia and New Jersey were won by Republicans while the NY-23 Congressional race was won by the Democrat.

But these were not the only races that took place yesterday. One important ballot up for vote yesterday was in Maine regarding homosexual marriage. Homosexual marriage had been legalized in May apart from ballot, and thus the people decided to vote on the issue themselves. What is most interesting about this vote is the state it was turned down in. Northeastern states are very blue and very liberal, and yet, even in a liberal state, the people rejected redefining marriage. Though same-sex marriage is legal in a handful of states, no state as ever been voted in by the people.

Other ballot issues regarded marijuana and casino gambling. Voters in Breckenridge, CO voted to legalize marijuana for adults even though it remains illegal in the state. Likewise, expanded their medical marijuana law. Regarding gambling, several cities in Ohio voted to allow casino gambling including Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Toledo.

Finally, the state of Texas voted to not allow the government to take private property for economic development. What is sad is that it came to a vote even though it is unconstitutional. The founders believed in private property in their belief in the tyrannical big government who always want more, thus rob its citizens of liberty.

It was certainly an interesting election considering that very few states had major electoral issues and candidates. It will be interesting how politicians react to these results and what will happen in 2010. Isn't it amazing that one year after conservativism and the Republican party appeared dead, they are beginning to not just show life, but gain significant power.

Health Care and Abortions: Who is Telling the Truth?

We all remember the infamous "You lie!" statement from Senator Joe Wilson (R-SC). That comment was regarding the Presidents healthcare plan and illegal immigrants. But what about abortions? Will the government take over of health care pay for abortions? Will our tax dollars go towards the murder of more unborn Americans?

Like the illegal immigrant promise, Obama told the American people that the health care plan would not pay for abortions, but an Associated Press article says otherwise.

Women with private insurance plans that cover abortion might be able to switch to a less-expensive public plan without losing that coverage. Anti-abortion activists would feel they've lost an important battle, as taxpayer funds mingle with some insurance plans that, one way or another, pay for abortions.

So will the President's plan pay for abortions? The truth is, nobody reallyknows for sure because there are currently 5 different plans in Congress. But with the President's pro-abortion stance, I wouldn't doubt it. The scary part is that if the President and Congress wanted to make it clear that their bill won't pay for abortions, they could easily do it, but they have blocked all attempts.

SNL Turns on Obama

You know the left is turning against Obama whenever Saturday Night Live points out that our President hasn't actually accomplished nothing. They make one point that is interesting: Obama isn't turning this nation into a socialist nation if he hasn't done anything. They make a good point.

Obama Declares War . . . on Fox News

I am no fan of the media and how any President puts up with the ongoing assault from the media is beyond me. President George W. Bush particularly was hated by the media and yet he rarely lashed out against them. President Barack Obama, on the ther hand, has received mostly praise and adoration from the media. And yet that one thorn in his flesh, as he sees it, is getting the best of him.

The Obama administration has declared war on Fox News. Under attack, Fox has responded:

"I Didn't Say That": Carter Learns a Lesson in a Youtube Age

In the age of youtube, it is impossible to play the "I didn't say that" routine. Just ask Jimmy Carter who just weeks after blaming critics of President Barack Obama as racists is now saying that he was misunderstood and never said what he has been accused of. What is interesting about all of this is that even the media and liberals never said that Carter was misunderstood, but some publically agree with him.

Here is what Carter originially said:

Here is his denial:

So, did we understand him?

Here is another liberal Democrat agree with former President Carter. This is just incredible:

Comparing the Two: Presidents Bush and Obama at the UN

The polar opposites of our two most recent Presidents, George W. Bush and Barack Obama is interesting. Here are the two speeches from our President in 2008 (Bush) and 2009 (Obama).

BUSH

OBAMA

Certainly Obama is the better speaker, there is no debate about that. However, Obama's speech raises some concern. It seems that he wants to be the President of the world above the President of the United States. Furthermore, he naivite (though he denies it) is striking. Does he really think that we are all going to come together, hld hands, light a candle, and sing the Coca-Cola theme song? W. on the otherhand seemed to put the ball in the UN's court. It seems that he is saying, "Here are the problems of the world. You have a job to do. So do it!"

I am interesting in seeing what others think.

So Much For Openness and Tolerance

The following video is rather shocking. The language, the anger, and the vitriol against Christians is simply astounding. I don't believe that President Barack Obama is the anti-christ, but as one of these "fundamentalists" I am simply appalled that I am repeatedly told to be tolerant while Frank Scheffer can speak in such hateful language. He calls conservative, evangelical Christians terrorists essentially (note when he says that "they" are bringing guns to rallies), he says that Christians deny facts, are are beyond crazy, are dangerous neighbors, and are village idiots. It is amazing how it is culturally wise for persons to mock fun of, shut out, and shut down Christians and yet at the same time declare themselves to be tolerant, open-minded, and not the bigot.

It continues to astound me. I wonder what the culture would think if a Christian said anything near this strong regarding the secular left.
